Greetings from Michigan Todd. 51 for a high today. Fall is definitely here. I just finished getting lime sprinkled on my collection yesterday. I’ve been using lime for a couple of years (thank you, Rick L. ❤) and it does help increase strength and growth. I would suggest being very careful with it on any exposed roots. It doesn’t seem to kill them, but does turn them brown.
Up early and got all mine feed and watered. Twinkle is just starting to open. The Ang is still in bloom. 2 spikes on another mini phal. Epi porpax is still blooming also. Lime is great for just about all plants. Mike turned 40 on sunday, had a small party for him. Enjoy the day kiddo…😆🖖
Would powder garden lime work as well? Just cause that is what I have hanging around. On the bag it does say lawn and garden lime. Just wondering. Thank you for this info as anything to help out the orchids. I just started using tea black for phals, den and catt., green tea for the paph. Which I will probably do once a month. Have a great day.
Hi is this lime powder safe for garden vegetables too? I bought this exact same one for my dad. Or this is only good for flowers? I just wanna make sure b4 my dad puts on all his vegetables in his garden. Thank you
i started planting all my orchids in lower tree branches that hang down low . (in the notches of nicely trimmed branches of course) ……. im gonna try this now to help them a tad . thank you bro .
Todd: thanks for this addition…. remember Stephen Van’s video) re my rot problem. I did also buy it and added to my orcs. Btw, please wear gloves when adding per the bag instructions..it’s a chemical after all.
