HOME GROWN An Australian Vegetable Garden

HOME GROWN An Australian Vegetable Garden

There can be few pleasures greater than picking home
grown vegetables from your own garden.
Master gardener David Glenn takes you on a tour around
his kitchen garden showing how to be self-sufficient
in vegetables. From asparagus to zucchini David Glenn
grows enough produce to feed himself, his wife artist
Criss Canning and their large extended family.
David’s vegetable garden, set in the world renowned
Lambley Nursery Gardens in Central Victoria, is as
beautiful as it is productive. Even though the climate
can be very difficult with temperatures ranging from
-8C to 45C. Frosts can occur as early as mid-April and
as late as mid-November.
Whether you have a large country property or a small
city garden this magnificent two DVD set shows how,
with a little dedication, the keen home gardener can
have an incredibly productive kitchen garden.

Hahaha… Glad to come here in the virtual digi garden to enjoy the beauty of country life and your pretty garden.

Honestly speaking, I reckon your personal TV can parallel to ABC Garden Show. Trust me, it is. And love your story about your childhood time related with garden and that futile soil compared with some ignorant veggie planters I know. Hahaha

I used to have deer family come to my veggie garden. And from half garlic stump or yanked one, I knew that must be deer mother teach kids to taste it. Also I ever threw beef tripe around the garden. And surprising no deed past to my garden that year due to fox came and lurking,

Can tell your design and systematic organized garden. A PROFESSIONAL GARDENER. That’s us– Australian.
