  2. Kathy Lewis on August 1, 2022 at 12:06 am

I have a 1/4 inch drill bit does it need to be larger for veggies in a big tub? Thank you!!

  3. Genevieve Greene on August 1, 2022 at 12:07 am

Way prettier than my blue plastic barrels… I will now be on the hunt for those hell’a fire peppers. Nice video.

    Questions:
1- Without some sort of insert, won’t there be too much zinc or some thing leeching into the plants?
2- I’ve never tried planting in galvanized pots with edibles, especially outdoors, because I was afraid they would rust. Do they not do that?

  6. Cathy Brown on August 1, 2022 at 12:10 am

Determinant tomatoes are best for canning. They grow so you can harvest all at one time.

  7. P. Belle on August 1, 2022 at 12:11 am

    Do these tubs rust?

  8. Pamular Carter on August 1, 2022 at 12:11 am

Can you do more videos on this type of plantings? Especially compatible type plantings. Love this thank you so much. I have NEVER understood gardening until I started watching your videos. I look forward to them everyday. I am truly inspired by everything you do. You keep everything short and to the point and yet very informative in what you are teaching. Keep going! God made you for this.

  11. Jordan Droxford on August 1, 2022 at 12:15 am

next to the fact that its going to be heavy to move those galvanized containers, how do you overwinter strawberries in containers? I’m in zone 6 I think in Missouri.

  12. RayMondoART on August 1, 2022 at 12:20 am

Only one thing concerns me: steel containers don’t heat up the soil inside it do they?

  13. Cami Cri on August 1, 2022 at 12:20 am

    Pretty!

  14. valencia x on August 1, 2022 at 12:20 am

Hi Laura! I want to show you what you have inspired me to create one day soon but I also wanted to ask if you will make a video one day of edible plants that grow in the shade if there are any other than herbs I would love to know!

  22. Naina Rao on August 1, 2022 at 12:26 am

  23. Venice Mitchell on August 1, 2022 at 12:28 am

what size are the tubs, 5 gallon, ten or twenty on the big ones ?

  24. Jules Aviles on August 1, 2022 at 12:28 am

woman! you inspire me!! 😊 I have several tomato plants and some leaves are starting to curl and I noticed some blooms just falling…I’m sad, but why are they doing this? I’ve fertilized and tend to them almost daily! it’s been hard since back surgery. I’ve tried my best but I need help. thank you!

  25. Michelle Vue on August 1, 2022 at 12:30 am

Will the Galvanized Tubs rust if I leave it outside year round?

  26. Michele L on August 1, 2022 at 12:34 am

I love the convenience of the Epsoma organic liquid premeasured fertilizer but it is extremely expensive when you have to use 3 doses per gallon of water. I bought some but I just can’t afford that. For a small bottle it cost over $13!

  27. Elizabeth on August 1, 2022 at 12:34 am

I learn so much from you! Thank you for your awesome, professional, and practical videos. 🙂

  28. Gail Blain on August 1, 2022 at 12:36 am

BIG fan of galvanized tubs. I usually put my salad greens and herbs in them near the kitchen door – a shorter walk than the big garden. Great tips!

Beautiful and clever! You must have no deer that like to “ visit”!

How does the heat affect the metal I’m a little worried doing it here in Australia cause of how hot the summers are

  32. Shakina Riley on August 1, 2022 at 12:41 am

    So so wonderful

  33. Kathya Kalinine on August 1, 2022 at 12:41 am

Are the galvanized tubs safe for food? I know you’re planting in them, but I have a galvanized tub outside and it is rusty in certain spots.  This always throws me off.

  34. Elizabeth B on August 1, 2022 at 12:41 am

MY ONLY CONCERN would be moving those tubs. Could you perhaps put some wheels under them to make handling them easier and also when the weather changes perhaps you could relocate them.

  35. Amy Williamson on August 1, 2022 at 12:42 am

Can you grow veggies in the big self watering pots and put fertilizer in the water reservoir? Please and thank you!

  36. only ethical on August 1, 2022 at 12:43 am

Laura I adore you and your channel soooooo much!! I have a teeeeeeny little balcony that I’ve crammed with little pots, long pots, high pots and never did I think to just get a massive tub and shove them all in there! It’s so much easier for moving as well as we are in a rental. Your passion is infectious – I’m off to my local hardware store….. NOW <3 xxx

  37. Tambourine on August 1, 2022 at 12:43 am

  49. Mark & Kristy Nichols on August 1, 2022 at 1:05 am

took me 2 days to find this one again—LOL wanted to find the one where you plant raspberries in container and couldn’t remember which one it was—so excited as I have been digging many strawberries and have a square galvanized tub ready for planting! Would you add marigold also or just leave the raspberry and strawberries? Thanks–Kristy
