How to hook up/connect a hose to your sink (faucet to hose, hose to indoor faucet, sink to hose)

Hooking up a hose to your indoor sink is so easy, you’ll be as happy as I am in my thumbnail! And it’s so cheap and easy to do. I’m very thrilled to be FINALLY giving my condo balcony a good cleaning. Adulting has given joy a completely different definition.

This tutorial is the same for anyone who wishes to connect a garden hose to their kitchen sink for their lawn for example, if the piece fits your sink, you’re set.

There are also universal hoses aviable. Turist showers or movable showers, something like that. Need no adapter to install it.

Can’t figure out why I have water leaking from the faucet when I turn on the water 😩

You are my hero, So much courage, I don’t have, meaning I am afraid to do it as I am afraid management will site me for using a faucet in the balcony patio. Anyway my patio balcony is on a heavy traffic street and dust is unbelievable. I don’t have neighbors below but the gym, and water May leak on the window and be noticeable, unfortunately rainy season ends so it may have to wait another year, or maybe during the weekend when management is off, but I’ll have my hose ready then, I wonder if an RV and Marine Lightweight, Ultra Flexible Hosea works, I hate to have a bulky hose in the apartment I’ll shop around, thank you for you video. I’ll hope I don’t get in trouble wish me luck thanks again.

This might be a stupid question and maybe I’m missing something obvious lol. If I don’t plan on *using* a pressure washer — do I need to buy one for this process?? Lol I want to try to connect a hose to my kitchen faucet for filling my aquarium instead of lugging buckets of water back and forth across my living room🥲

The yucky dust outside is mostly pollen… so yea, you don’t want that inside your house, especially if you have allergies… so clean your brushes, maybe even your vacuum hose. Thanks for the faucet adaptor tip.. I need to give my deck a good cleaning.

  20. Mario Fachini on August 5, 2022 at 12:48 am

Great video @Jesscuz was looking for a way to connect outside house inside to run water in my garage since it’s winter. Loved how you detailed this, very creative. Also glad to see you were using the 25/30 degree nozzle on the pressure washed, even the 10/15 could potentially hurt the carpet. For the record, I loved that you used the powerwasher inside lol, it’s not overkill if its clean is it? 😉

  22. Ron J on August 5, 2022 at 12:49 am

Those are great for taking off paint. I did that once by accident. I had a lot of experience with a wimpy pressure washer that is hand sized , the "dust buster" of pressure washers and it wouldn’t hurt a fly. Then I used a real one and those can stip paint off wood or brick in seconds. Damn.

    Jess,

Thanks for this video. After watching it I went to Home Depot today and bought a snap adapter. I hooked it up and was able to power wash my patio. Keep up the good work.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! I have vacuumed my apartment balcony for 8.5 years. This year I decided to buy a faucet adapter for my kitchen sink to attach a garden hose and spray the walls and other things. I thought about even renting a small pressure washer so that I could be more thorough. Before heading to the hardware store this morning, I thought I would Google a basic "how-to" and found your video. Loved it!!! You are so cool and it was very helpful!!!

  33. Raymond WONG on August 5, 2022 at 1:02 am

This is a great video and helpful tips. I I have set up a porch potty for my two dogs but even so they will pee on my balcony. It’s getting warm in Seattle and Its starting to smell like dog. I was planning on renting a pressure washer but then I saw there’s sinks adapters! Will be trying that instead of having a super noisy machine.

I did watch your other video with the Bella mop and I really loved how you reminded us folks to not spend money if we don’t need to.

  49. Zed Zed on August 5, 2022 at 1:22 am

Can the water pressure damage the pipes over time. Also being in an apartment does it affect other peoples water pressure

  50. Ayla Miller on August 5, 2022 at 1:24 am

Our bathtub faucet froze meaning we can’t take showers! So I had the idea to use the bathroom sink with a hose to run to the shower. Only thing was that I could not find out how! So thank you, you saved me!
