I’m very lucky, my neighbor has a garden and he shares a lot of it with me. I use everything and never waste any of it 😁

Instead of ornamental cherry blossoms or ornamental pears, plant an edible fruit-bearing tree.

Some of the priciest restaurants in CA have been growing their own foods for years. No antibiotics, pesticides or steroids. Smart move.

This is what we all need to do. Stop relying on centralized GMO produce. Government wants you on their leash that way. BE THE SOURCE

Well excuse me I can’t grow cat food on trees.
😾 but sometimes tree bird’s will do just fine when I’m feeling extra.

I’ve been gardening since I was 12 and I started on my own. I was a weird kid. You can get all the nutrients you need for growing by Composting your own kitchen scraps. Cardboard is also easy to find, carbon is an important part of composting

Getting unique varieties, increased micro-nutrients, because the food isn’t using them up in the long delay for retail sales, an excuse to be outside getting helpful exercise and pride are all other reasons beautifying your yard with edibles is wise. Researching to see if the plants you already have might make a nice snack might be very rewarding. There are many sites on-line to help you. You can even eat many weeds.
